LE PRINTEMPS at Balthazar

Spring arrives at Balthazar with a vibrant dash of joie de vivre, in partnership with our friends at Grey Goose, St Germain and Fever Tree. A floral installation of lilac and yellow wisteria brings to mind the exuberant romance of Claude Monet’s paintings – a fitting tribute to the building’s colourful past as the flower cellars for the historic Covent Garden market. Indeed, a chic pop-up flower shop at the entrance beckons guests and passers-by alike to pick out a bespoke bouquet and bring some of the joy back home.

While the elegant room exudes the bustle and brio of the grand dining halls of turn-of-the-century Paris, our spring display is an invitation to slow down and take the time to enjoy a memorable meal, whatever the occasion. Cascades of vivid flowers evoke balmy days in the French countryside, tempting you to linger over a glass of ice-cold rosé and indulge in one of our sumptuous desserts. Or you could go all out and order the Balthazar special-serve magnum, and let the wine and the good times flow.

An à-la-carte offering of French brasserie classics, including our signature fruits de mer, is prepared with passion and savoir-faire, and is available from 11.30am through to 10pm – the better to serve our dynamic community in the heart of London’s theatreland.
